To locate the cemetery, take I-20 from Weatherford west to the Brock exit. Take FM 1189 south about five miles through Dennis. After crossing the Brazos River, be on the lookout for "The Reserve at Sugartree," an up-and-coming golf course neighborhood that will sooner or later encroach upon the cemetery. Turn west onto Sugartree Drive and follow it for about .7 miles to Sugartree Circle. There is a sign here for Champion Equine, and a gate to an unimproved road. Proceed through the gate and follow this road for about 1.2 miles to reach a gate and cattle guard on land owned by the J.J. Land Livestock Company. Proceed through the cattle guard for about .3 miles, and the cemetery will be to the right.
A 1989 Texas Historical Marker provides some history:
William Henry Stephens (1826-1891) and his wife Elizabeth Dockery (1827-1888) came to this area from Kentucky in the early 1860s. Together with their sons Shelby, Hugh, Nathan, and Jonas, they established a family farm. In 1876, at the age of 29, Hugh Stephens died and was buried on the family farm. His is the earliest documented burial in the Stephens family cemetery. Although only four graves are marked with legible stones, it is believed that at least twenty-seven family members are interred here. Descendants maintain the historic graveyard.

There are five, not four, legible stones here, too, although a few are old stone head/footstones with what I call a "2.0" marker, where someone in more modern times has added a small stone with details about the burial there.
