May 21st 2018 at 21:25:31 CDST the ISS reached an altitude of 54° and a magnitude of -3.8 over Bethany, Oklahoma. At 22:30:39 EDST it reached an altitude of 89° and a magnitude of -3.9 over Ottawa.

The ISS took 5 minutes and 8 seconds, covering 1540 miles to get to Ottawa.

It was a comfortably warm night to follow track directly overhead. The warm temperature brought some haze which prevented me watching the station actually setting over the city. Someday I hope to watch a station track in front of the moon. On this Victoria Day holiday, I could hear the distant roar of fireworks but I could see none above my horizon.
