West of OK Financial Services at 202 W. Broadway in downtown Okemah, is a covered area where a building once stood. This area is used as an outdoor Farmer's Market on Wednesday and Saturday from May till October. On the east wall of this area is a mural depicting a young Indian girl. Behind her stands a group of Indian men and women holding flags. To the north of her is a young boy riding a cow, with the words OKEMAH OK.

The mural was created by local artist, DeAnna Wilson in 1994.
