Located at the corner of College and North 14th Streets is the Philomath Community Church, housed in a traditional-looking gabled one-story structure with a bell tower. This church was most likely a Methodist church (the City of Philomath was founded by Methodists) before becoming a non-denominational church a number of years ago. From their website:

Christians and seekers have been meeting in our building on the corner of College Street and 14th St for 120 years now. Our church's roots go back to the founding of the city of Philomath in 1865.

Today we are known for our contemporary worship, practical and inspiring Bible teaching, a dynamic missions program in Sierra Leone, West Africa and being a friendly and welcoming congregation.

We invite you to come visit us on Sunday mornings to worship God and fellowship with His People.

This church contains a webpage devoted to its missions overseas in the countries of Liberia and Sierra Leone building churches and schools.
