Fairly new windmill pumps water to keep the lake level even.

I watched, passing this way many times, to owner bulldoze the land, create the lake...as rain water filled the lake they built a dock, then the house and, finally, the windmill....and the lake filled faster.

There is nothing on the tail...so I do not know what manufacturer made the windmill...but it is active, it pumps water...and is used in very hot weather.

Although it is a private windmill, it sits right on the highway, and a pull over to the shoulder will give you a great view and photo access.
