Magnifique chapelle restaurée dans les années 1960/70.
Sa construction originelle dâte de 1682 comme l'atteste l'inscription au dessus de la port entrée.
SOLIDARITE / Le hameau de Vaunières, à Saint-Julien-en-Beauchêne, à l'état d'abandon, a été racheté en 1964 par l’association Village des Jeunes.
Hautes Alpes – Le hameau de Vaunières, à Saint-Julien-en-Beauchêne, connaît depuis plus de 50 ans une cure de jouvence. Un hameau totalement abandonné qui a été racheté en 1964 par l’association Village des Jeunes. Depuis cette année, des chantiers internationaux sont mis en place, avec de jeunes bénévoles de 15 à 25 ans, issus de milieux sociaux et culturels très divers.

Hautes Alpes - The hamlet of Vaunières, in Saint-Julien-en-Beauchêne, has known for more than 50 years a cure of youth. A totally abandoned hamlet that was bought in 1964 by the Youth Village Association. Since this year, international projects have been set up, with young volunteers aged 15 to 25, from a wide variety of social and cultural backgrounds.
