A Blue Star Memorial Highway marker is located a landscaped and paved plaza on a traffic island. The marker was installed in 2015 and is surrounded by small circular plaques with the emblems of the five branches of the Armed Forces - Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard. A circular plaque attached to the top of the marker contains a relief of flowers and the inscription: NATIONAL GARDEN CLUBS INC.
The marker contains a blue star and is inscribed:
