Taron ist eine Achterbahn im Themenbereich "Mystery" des Phantasialands, einem der größten Freizeitparks Deutschlands. Die 2016 eröffnete Stahlachterbahn ist ein Multi-Launch-Coaster, d.h. die Züge werden keinen Lifthill hochgezogen sondern auf einer Geraden magnetisch per LSM-Antrieb beschleunigt bzw. katapultiert.

Mit Taron hat der Hersteller Intamin gleich vier Weltrekorde aufgestellt:
  • Mit einer Spitzengeschwindigkeit von 117 km/h ist Taron der schnellste Multi-Launch-Coaster der Welt.
  • Mit einer Länge von 1.320 Metern ist Taron der längste Muti-launch-Coaster der Welt ohne Inversionen.
  • Taron hat den intensivsten Katapult-Antrieb (LSM) der Welt integriert.
  • Mit 58 Schienenschnittpunkten im Streckenverlauf ist Taron weltweit der Launch-Coaster mit der verschlungensten Streckenführung.
Taron is a roller coaster in the "Mystery" section of Phantasialand, one of the largest amusement parks in Germany. The steel roller coaster opened in 2016 is a multi-launch coaster, i.e. the trains are not pulled up onto a lifthill but accelerated or catapulted on a straight line magnetically by LSM drive.

The manufacturer Intamin has set four world records with Taron:
  • With a top speed of 117 km/h, Taron is the fastest multi-launch coaster in the world.
  • At a length of 1,320 meters, Taron is the world's longest muti-launch coaster without inversions.
  • Taron has integrated the most intense catapult drive (LSM) in the world.
  • With 58 intersecting track points along the route, Taron is the launch coaster with the most intricate track layout worldwide.
