The ground was 'turned' in 1999, with the Temple opened and Dedicated on 15th June, 2000. It is of Classic modern design with a single spire - designed by Simon Drew. It has two Ordinance Rooms, and two Sealing Rooms. The exterior of the building is of brilliant snow-white granite, imported from Campolonghi, Italy. There is a beautiful golden trumpet blowing statue surmounted on the peak of the Temple.
