Designed with four concentric rings, the outer two (close together) carry the minute and 15-minute markers. Between these and the next ring are the Roman numeral hours. In the centre is a fourth ring containing a complex pattern and providing the mount for the hands.
The background is black and all details are in gold. The whole is surrounded by a white wooden ring.
The building was once outbuildings such as stables but is now in use as a cafe and also an exhibition area.
