Hinter dem Gehrenberg in der Nähe des Bahnwärterhaus bei N47 40.462 E9 49.999 zweigte einmal das Industriegleis zur damaligen Zellstofffabrik im heutigen Idustriegebiet Atzenberg ab.
Von 1913 bis 1960 rollten hier über die Brücke und den Damm Züge mit Holz bzw. zurück mit Ballen,der die Senke zwischen Gehrenberg und Atzenberg ausgleicht und heute ein beliebter Weg für Fußgänger und Radfahrer ist.
Im Jahre 2017 wurde die Brücke saniert, mit neuem Belag und einem neuen Geländer versehen
