Inlaid granite and limestone compass rose located in the Hugh O'Neil Memorial garden area of the new Trenton City Marina.
The Marina was completed in 2016, replacing the smaller marinas located on both sides of the mouth of the Trent River.
Hugh O'Neil was a long-time Member of Provincial Parliament. Among other things, he represented the Quinte Region at Queen's Park for 20 years. He was also very active as a volunteer in this community. The compass rose located here is befitting of a man who was always moving in many directions.
