[FR] La plus grande partie des collections présentées évoque le passé gaulois et gallo-romain grâce à de nombreuses sculptures, inscriptions, poteries et objets funéraires. Elles retracent également la vie publique et domestique des Nériomagienses (futurs nérisiens). Le musée, à proximité de l'église romane des XIème et XIIème siècles et de la nécropole mérovingienne, met en valeur le patrimoine culturel de la ville.
[EN] The largest part of the collections on display evoke the gallic and gallo-roman past thanks to numerous sculptures, inscriptions, pottery, and funerary objects. They also recount the public and domestic life of the inhabitants of Neriomagus as the town was called back then. Next to the Romanesque church from the 11th and 12th centuries and the Merovingian necropolis, the museum highlights the cultural heritage of the city.
