This view point provides views of Mt. St. Helens and the southern end of Spirit Lake. There are three signs (Eruption, Lava Dome, People) at the view point and interpretive talks are also given at times during the summer. There is also a trail which begins here, which goes up a long stairway to a higher viewpoint (half mile round trip).
