While the outside of the seating is painted in bright blues, there is a mural on the 'eastern' inner side, of of what Skinner Street (the street that this is on) would have looked like over a hundred years ago. While the origin of Grafton was based on the availability of transporting goods by the river, there is a sailing clipper painted, but in an open water setting.
There are a couple of flat wooden slat seats attached to the inner sides of this arrangement. One seat bench is supported by wooden posts set in concrete. A semi-mature tree is in the middle of the setting. There are several of these concrete backed seat arrangements in Skinner Street, South Grafton.
