Partial duplicate of the tables of the law with the opening words of the first 5 commandments at the memorial stone in the Jewish cemetery in Leer / Ostfriesland.
The two marble tables with the opening words of the 10 commandments were located on the synagogue in Leer, which was burnt down during the November pogrom in 1938, and were long lost.
In 1982, this table was found again and brought to Tel Aviv. The replica can be seen in the cemetery in Leer.
