This YAH marker is located at the front of the Parkwoods Estate, the former mansion of famed Canadian industrialist Col. R.S. McLaughlin, of McLaughlin Buick automobile fame. This property was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1989.
The property is located at 270 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa. Tours are conducted daily. Admission to the mansion is $15/adult. There are reduced rates for other groups. There is no cost for parking or to wander the outside grounds.
