"Sur une petite place de Perpignan donnant accès à la chapelle du Tiers Ordre, vous trouverez ce puits artésien creusé en 1846, agrémenté dans les années 70 de cette fontaine en fer forgé. Elle a été dessinée par un ingénieur de la ville, René Garros. L’eau s’écoule par la bouche d’un horrible monstre… Une salamandre !

On a small square in Perpignan giving access to the chapel of the Third Order, you will find this artesian well dug in 1846, embellished in the 70s of this wrought iron fountain. It was designed by an engineer from the city, René Garros. The water flows through the mouth of a horrible monster ... A salamander!
