The FLC Public Library is a beautiful building! It is located on the west side of Elk Ave. North between Washington and Monroe. The building is up on a hill, and there are stairs from the sidewalk to the main entrance (as we as entrance from the parking lot on the north side). There is also parking available on the west side of the building.
There are several links on the Library's Home Page to direct you to the services it provides. One unique link is "Little Free Libraries" along with photos of three nearby. There are over 30,000 books in the Library's collection.
Some of the programs offered here are: Summer Reading Program, Computer classes, speaker series, and Explorers program. There is a Genealogy Room and a large selection of large-print books.
