This is an “open 24-hour” Subway restaurant co-located inside a Circle-K convenience store that also has Shell brand gas pumps in front. The roadway “lighted” sign displayed at roadside has the Subway logo at the bottom with Shell, Circle-K and a price per gallon of gas displayed above the Subway sign. Subway can be accessed directly from a doorway on the left front of the building or from within the Circle-K. This location has eat-in, takeout and catering capability (according to web info).
Non-padded bench seating provided is six four-person booths and two 2-person booths. Usual service/ordering line. A self-serve fountain dispenser and pre-bottled drinks cooler along the back wall. Limited breakfast menu but appears to have full sub menu. No WiFi and restroom is in the Circle-K. Vehicle parking spaces in front of building and along perimeter of property.
Commercial trucks of all sizes frequent this location… not for fuel, but for food and products from the Circle-K or Subway. These vehicles tend to park on the north edge of property opposite of gas pumps and building.
ARRIVAL TIP -- Eastbound I-4 travelers will turn right (south) at the traffic light upon exit. Beware that an immediate jump to a left turn lane is required for next traffic light, which is less than a block away. For westbound I-4 travelers a tight right hand climbing loop exit (slow down… trust me!) to stop sign. Turn right (south) on to roadway and make your way to left lane quickly, crossover I-4. Pass through 1st traffic light and immediately get in left turn lane for 2nd traffic light. Turn left then right into Circle-K/Shell/Subway. The “golden arches” of McD is across the street and same side (east) of roadway (County Line Road). If you miss traffic light turn… there is a left turn cut out lane a short distance for turn around. It is by the Wendy’s and motel. CAUTION: County Line Road is a median divided four-lane roadway with a lot of commuter and commercial truck traffic at peak to/from work commute hours during the week.
WM POSTer VISIT NOTE -- Just prior to creating this WM, I made a Sunday morning (8am) breakfast stop. I ordered a sausage, egg & cheese wrap with a fountain lemonade. I ate in. The site was clean and seems to be well maintained. Staff (3) were friendly and attentive. The meal suited my needs and resulted in no adverse effect afterward. I was only patron upon arrival and I detected no issues with subsequent patrons while I was dining. I did not check or use the restroom.
