Text:
"5353 Cedar Springs Road
On this site stood a fieldstone farmhouse and barn built in 1850 for William Wilson, a local lumber merchant. The Millar family owned the property from 1919-2007.
A sweeping drive from Cedar Springs Road led to the 1 1/2 storey, end gabled stone house. The random stone structure with roughly dressed quoins and gothic arched windows was parged with incised lines to suggest cut stone. The pre-Confederation homestead was very typical of the area.
Some of the stone salvaged from the main house and barn was used in the construction of this cairn."
