"John Cravens Broughton of Littleton, a communications technician with Lucent Technologies, died Thursday in Denver. He was 58. Services were Saturday at Mission Hills Church. Interment was in New Madrid, Mo.
He was born Nov. 17, 1941, in New Madrid. On March 1, 1968, he married Emily Field in Memphis, Tenn.
He served in the Air Force. He is survived by his wife; two sons, John T., Houston, and Trevor F., Denver; a daughter, Carin R., Littleton; five brothers; and three sisters. Contributions may be made to the John C. Broughton Memorial Fund, Mission Hills Church, 5859 S. University Blvd., Littleton 80120."
