This wall box can be found on the corner of a house adjacent to the B9127 road at the Kirkton of Kinnettles, three miles south-west of the town of Forfar, in a rural location.

The box is still in good condition, mainly due to the usual various coats of red paint. The VR insignia is at the top with a crown in between.

Tell us about the area the post box is situated.:
The Kirkton of Kinnettles is a small collection of houses and two former churches on the south side of the B9127 road near its western termination with the busy A94. The larger hamlet of Douglastown lies near this junction half a mile to the north. The Kirkton would have been at one time the main settlement of the rural parish of Kinnettles.
