USGS '430 FEET 1909' Triangulation Station - Franklin, OR - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

I recovered this U.S. Geological Survey benchmark from 1909? in good condition. It is an aluminum disk monumented on top of a round concrete monument projecting about 10 inches above the ground and on the east end of a flower bed and sign to Bethany Church. A metal witness post is located 2 inches SW of the monument. It is located about 8 feet west of the west edge of the Territorial Hwy. This disk is also listed on a topography map as 'BM 428.6' and is not listed in the NGS database. My posted coordinates should place you very close to this mark.
