Cathedral of St. Joseph is a Roman Catholic cathedral located at 140 Farmington Ave. in Hartford, CT. It is the mother church of the Archdiocese of Hartford.

The present Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford was completed and dedicated on May 15, 1962. It was built on the site of the older neo-Gothic brownstone cathedral construction of which began on April 29, 1877 and which was destroyed by fire on December 31, 1956. The mid-century modern, concrete, limestone covered, structure was designed by Eggers & Higgins of New York City. It reaches a height of 281 feet.

The bell tower contains 12 carillon bells cast in the Netherlands by Petit & Fritsen. Over the front doors is a 46-foot frieze, depicting St. Joseph, the Patron of the Archdiocese of Hartford. The pipe organ, designed by the Austin Organ Company, The capacity of the cathedral is about 1,880 people including the two side chapels. There is also a lower church below the upper church.
