While there is only a small amount of on-street parking, on weekends, or 'after hours' there is parking at the end of the small industrial area to the west - past Generocity church.
There are three playing fields set out here, with the times to be used controlled by the local Hastings Council. Mums often bring their kids along during the day to 'kick a ball around' when schools aren't using the fields. It would be a good place to throw a Frisbee around.
There are quite a few Netball courts at the southern end (x 11), and they have their own parking from Grant Street.
The Hastings Council has a sign for this Park, prohibiting: Naked Flames - fires, Camping, Vehicles, Golf, Remote Control Cars, Skating - skateboarding, Glass, Dogs.
