Il s'agit d'un barrage hydro-électrique appartenant à Algonquin Power. Il a été construit en 1913, mais a été complètement refait en 2016/17 parce que la crue de 2014 l'avait fait céder.

On trouve sur place des panneaux informatifs et une échelle à saumon qui permet aux poissons de passer outre le barrage.

It is a hydropower dam owned by Algonquin Power. It was first build in 1913, but rebuild in 2016/17 because the very high level of the floods in 2014 had broken the dam.

Information panels are available on the premises, and a fish ladder allows the salmons to overpass the dam.
