Tulum is the site of a pre-Columbian Mayan fortified town serving as the main port for Cobá, in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
The lookout, which offers great views of the Caribbean Sea and the beach, is only a few meters south of El Castillo, the main building in Tulum. From the lookout, a staircase leads to the beach where you can swim and sunbathe. We did it and had a great refreshing time.
