Auf dem Kaiserplatz in der Bonner Innenstadt steht ein etwa drei Meter großer Granitblock, der als Mahnmal der Gewaltherrschaft des Nationalsozialismus aufgestellt worden ist. Er erinnert an 600 Bonner Bürger, die während der NS-Zeit aufgrund von weltanschaulichen, religiösen, rassistischen, sozialen, medizinischen oder sexuellen Motiven umgebracht worden sind. Auf der Vorderseite der Stele ist folgender Text eingraviert:

ZUM GEDENKEN

Das Denkmal stand zuvor im Bonner Stadtgarten und wurde 1996 auf den Kaiserplatz verschoben. Ein Jahr später wurde eine zusätzliche Mahntafel auf der Rückseite der Stele mit folgendem Text angebracht:

Zu den tausenden ermordeten und überlebenden Opfern der nationalsozialistischen Gewaltherrschaft im heutigen Bonn zählen sowohl deutsche als auch ausländische Frauen, Männer und Kinder. Opfer waren alle, die aus weltanschaulichen, religiösen, ethnisch-rassistischen, sozialen und medizinischen Gründen, sowie lesbischer und homosexueller Orientierung verfolgt wurden.

On the Kaiserplatz in the center of Bonn stands a three-meter-high granite block, which has been erected as a memorial to the tyranny of National Socialism. It commemorates 600 citizens of Bonn who were killed during the National Socialist era because of ideological, religious, racial, social, medical or sexual motives. The following text is engraved on the front of the stele (translated to English):

600 CITIZENS OF BONN - SACRIFICES OF NATIONAL SOCIALISM
YOU THAT DIED
DISFRANCHISED, HUMILIATED, BROKEN
IN MEMORY

The monument was previously in the park Stadtgarten and was moved in 1996 to the Kaiserplatz. One year later, an additional plaque was placed on the back of the stela with the following text (translated to English):

The thousands of murdered and surviving victims of National Socialist tyranny in today's Bonn include both German and foreign women, men and children. Victims were all persecuted for ideological, religious, ethnic racist, social and medical reasons, as well as lesbian and homosexual orientation.
