From their website: "TeaTop originated from Tea Talk(????), a premium enterprise specialized in the domestic tea brewing business.
To change the traditional idea of using “inferior” tea for bubble drink in the early days, President David Yang entered the bubble tea drinks market and used the top graded “High Mountain Tea” (cost $1.50 per once) to served his customers.
