DLRG (German Life Saving Association) rescue station on the southern shore of Ratzeburg Lake.
The main watch station is located on the Castle Meadow right on the Great Ratzeburg Lake and is occupied by a radio operator from May to October at the weekends and additionally in the summer holidays in the week. He guards the Great Lake Ratzeburg and coordinates the lifeguards and lifeboats used. In the main watch station, the four lifeboats, the emergency vehicle and all the equipment are stationed.
