[DE] Über dem Brunnen, im Rathauswinkel, in dem der Schängelbrunnen seinen Platz hat, erinnern seit August 1975 drei künstlerisch gestaltete Reliefs an andere Koblenzer Heimatdichter, an Josefine Moos (1869-1967), Fritz Zimmer (1866-1939) und Peter Preußer (1875-1958). Die Große Koblenzer Karnevalsgesellschaft hat ihnen dort ein Denkmal gesetzt. Die Medaillons sind das Werk des Bildhauers Rudi Scheuermann."

Fritz Zimmer war ein Koblenzer Heimat- und Mundartdichter und lebte von 1866-1939.
