Ce petit pont pourrait paraître anodin mais il a une particularité : il est immergé une partie de l'année.
Le barrage de Serre-Ponçon est construit entre avril 1957 et novembre 1959. La mise en eau est finie en 1960.
La zone du lac (2820 ha) inonde des villages, dont celui de Sauze où était construit ce pont.
Chaque année en hivers, l'eau du barrage est utilisée pour la production d'électricité et chaque année, la fonte des neige le remplit à nouveau.
Ce petit pont, sur laquelle ne passe plus de route, n'est donc accessible, au mieux, que de décembre-janvier à avril-mai.

This small bridge might seem innocuous but it has a particularity: it is immersed part of the year.
The dam of Serre-Ponçon is built between April 1957 and November 1959. The impoundment is finished in 1960.
The lake area (2820 ha) floods villages, including Sauze where the bridge was built.
Every year in winter, dam water is used for electricity generation and every year the melting of snow replenishes it.
This small bridge, on which no longer passes road, is therefore accessible, at best, only from December-January to April-May.
