The full wording on the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea blue plaque reads:
Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
Holland House
was built in 1605 for Sir Walter Cope, a
courtier of King James I, and was known as
Cope Castle. In 1768 it was acquired by Henry
Fox, the First Baron Holland, and renamed
Holland House. Through his son Charles
James Fox it became the social centre of
the Whig Party in the 19th century. In 1940
it was bombed, since when only the East
Wing and the arcades have been restored.
Holland House is Grade I listed with the entry at the Historic England website telling us:
Remains of large, early C17 mansion, of considerable architectural and historic importance. Damaged in Second World War and subsequently partly demolished. South front with arcades survives to single storey height. Red brick and stone, much renewed. East wing survives to full height with enclosed arcade to ground storey, pilastered upper storeys and shaped gables to tiled roof, tower behind with slated roof.
