The church was built in the 12th century. The rectangular choir of two bays and flat chevet dates from the fourteenth century. To the north, it is connected to a vaulted vaulted vaulted chapel whose keystone bears the coat of arms of du Puy, lords of Bascher.
The facade and the bell tower are newer.
In 1955, about fifteen sarcophagi in tuffeau were discovered 500m from the church? Some were herringbone, others cephalic.
