I was west of Coffs Harbour, in northern coastal NSW, trying to find an alternate way to the Tuckers Nob 'Trig Point' - (
visit link) , which is the last Waymark for me to find within a hundred kilometres, when I came across this "Bridgeless Water Crossing" in my Nissan Dualis. [And NO!, I still haven't found a way to that waymark, yet!]
As it hadn't been raining for a while when I was there in August 2017, I assume that the catchment could easily have this a lot deeper with some rainfall. So, CAUTION would be required if it looks different to these photos. A 4wd could be recommended, or at least higher than sedan clearance to be sure that you don't get straddled on some of the larger rocks, or shingle in the creek. It is a couple of kilometres to go and get some help if needed.
Just up stream from this crossing is a Plank Bridge, that I didn't investigate, as it is the entry to Private Property to the north, of the 'nose-looking' entry point of the National Park. Less than a hundred metres to the southeast (downstream of this crossing), Shingle Bed Creek empties into Urumbilum River.

On looking at other details, I didn't realise that Tuckers Nob is not that far (ATCF - as the crow flies), from a geocache that I maintain, on behalf of MAP's - (
