Possibly the largest Quilt Art block located in Prince Edward County, this new (2017) block was a wedding gift to the owners!

This block is located on the outbuilding of a private residence on Main Street (CR 29) in Consecon, directly across from the Legion branch (and another block).

The block, on a green background, was a wedding gift to the owners. Each of the quadrants features items special to them, such as wine, hops dogs and canning season. The corner octagons are symbolic of electrical boxes, as that is the owner's profession.

The block is not yet listed on the County's Quilt Arts tour, but is definitely considered on of it's "hidden treasures".

The piece can be viewed easily from the road. Feel free to say hi to the owners if they're outside :)

Hd a long chat with the owner today. Obvious pride in the piece. We talked at length about it. When I asked if it had a name, he was surprised, and said they hadn't thought about it yet!
