This concrete culvert along Hiwassee Road is located about one-half mile south of the Jones Elementary School. It carries water from a small creek that runs northeast/southwest. The tunnel opening is approximately 4 ft. high and 12 ft. wide. A WPA shield stamped into the curbing shows 1936. The concrete looks to be in good condition and effectively doing its job.
