Monte Gordo does not have a harbour but does have a sandy beach with a shallow incline.
The local fishermen have a designated area on the beach where they launch their boats from and then bring them back onto land.
Each boat also has an allocated beach hut where the boat owners can store their gear, was their clothes or just hang out after their work is done.
Each of the huts has the boat name and registered number at the top.
