In Milton, along the Neponset Greenway, is this mural on a retaining wall.

The retaining wall is on the south side of the path and extends over 100 feet. The wall helps support the tracks to the Mattapan section of the MBTA Red Line. It starts about 100 ft west of the Baker dam which holds back the Neponset River.

The mural is a series of images joined together by a red ribbon. Each image is in the form of an open book with a natural image and an identification of the object featured. There's one for the Bullfrog, Red Maple, Bluegill Sunfish and Rainbow Smelt, King Bolete and Fly Agaric mushrooms, common commerant, common milkweed, and common wood nymph butterfly. At the east end are the credits.
