Le 12 octobre (2005), la Marine chilienne a offert à la Marine canadienne un buste de son héros national, le Capitaine de frégate Arturo PRAT Chacón.
Lors d’une cérémonie émouvante et empreinte de dignité au complexe naval de Pointe-à-Carcy de Québec, le Vice-amiral Bruce MacLean, chef d’état-major des Forces maritimes et le Commodore Felipe Carvajal, au nom du commandant en chef de la Marine chilienne, ont dévoilé le buste en bronze.
The Chilean Navy presented the Canadian Navy with a bust of its national hero, Commander Arturo PRAT Chacón on October 12 (2005).
During a short, but dignified and emotional ceremony at the Pointe-à-Carcy Naval Complex in Québec City, Vice- Admiral Bruce MacLean, Chief of the Maritime Staff and Commodore Felipe Carvajal, representing the commander-in- chief of the Chilean Navy, unveiled the bronze bust.
