While it is a lovely looking wooden Truss Bridge, in the Allan-style, it is now fenced off, as there is a new concrete bridge parallel to it. [Even the new bridge has a limit of ONE Heavy Vehicle on the Bridge at any one time!]

The Styx River is a considerable distance DOWN very steep sides of the valley, so the bridge was truly significant when built. There are still hardwood piers at the southern end that look in good condition.
