This huge chrome and other colored metals American Indian Native on Horse is found in a pasture at a private residence on East Parker Road in Parker, Colorado. The American Native Indian is hunting the nearby bison, but does stands an an independent sculpture. The address is roughly 11229 East Parker Road. This is private property, so only photograph from the public road.
The sculptor is Sean Guerrero who is a personal friend of the owner of the property. Mr. Guerrero previously resided in the mountain town of Crested Butte, Colorado and travels frequently to his second home in the Bordeaux region of France. He now lives in Denver, Colorado, where he grew up. Early on he realized that he had the ability to create sculptures from recycled materials such as wood, steel and plastic. Once Sean discovered the unique opportunities of working with chrome plated steel, taken from old automobile bumpers, it became his preferred medium.
NOTE: The property owner happened to stop by while I was taking photos from the road. He gave me permission to come on the property to take close-ups and told me about the artist (whose work I knew from Waymarks in Crested Butte (WM41H2 and WM418X)).
