Baptismal Font in St. Olave's church on Cumberland Road in North Ramsey.
The baptismal bowl is set in an a some what plain surround which sits atop a circular coloumn which is seated on a rectangular base. The font in addition to the circular column is supported by 4 more delicate stone pillars made from black-marble and with ornate flourish directly beneath the font surround.
The ornately decorated lid which covers the font when not in use is made from Oak and is in the Gothic Revival style.
The font is set to the left of the entrance to the body of the church via the west porch.
Approximate Age of Artefact: The baptismal font is contemporary with the church and dates from the 1860's
