Once known as the Milton V. Munk Funeral Home and once in a prior location on North Pittsburgh Street in Connellsville that opened around 1931, this location at 127 East Fairview Avenue opened as that in 1940. It remained under his direction until July 1971 when he joined forces with Richard Kucera, who worked under several funeral homes before coming to Connellsville at the time to form the Munk-Kucera funeral home until his retirement, at which time it was solely known as the Richard Kucera Funeral Home and is still in operation today.
