St. Stephens Lutheran Church was founded in 1830 and the cemetery is across the street from the current location of the church. Some of the graves here are before the civil war.

Over 1,000 gravesites are here including many of the original families of Lexington County, Civil war vets and others. A list of graves and other information can be found here. If you have lived in the area for any length of time, you'll recognize a lot of the surnames.
