Texas Historic Site Atlas

The hotel was opened and dedicated in a lengthy ceremony spanning September 20-22, 1929. Converted into the county jail in recent years, the structure's exterior remains largely intact, creating a fortunate, pioneering adaptive use.

Three-story brick building with four bays on north side at street level, stories exhibit eight paired windows, with upper windows topped by scalloped hoodmolds.
