< DE >  Auf dem Hauptplatz von Retz steht ein kreisrunder Brunnen mit einer Löwenstatue, die das Stadtwappen von Retz hält, welches ebenfalls einen Löwen zeigt. Der Brunnen ist 5 Meter breit, ca. 3 Meter hoch und 1,8 Meter tief. Er stammt aus dem Jahr 1796 und wurde von Hofsteinmetzmeister Hauser geschaffen.
< EN >  On the Hauptplatz (main square) of Retz stands a circular fountain with a lion statue holding the coat of arms of Retz, which also shows a lion. The fountain is 5 meters wide, about 3 meters high and 1.8 meters deep. It dates back to 1796 and was created by stonemason Hauser.
