The Fleckalmbahn aerial lift was opened in 1984 and is part of the massive Kitzbühel ski resort. The famous Hahnenkamm downhill race is held here every year.
It is a 6 person gondola lift with a total length of 4,039 metres and rises an elevation of approximately 1,000 metres. The cable car is due for a replacement in 2018 when a 10 person gondola will take its place.
