The steeple is an octagonal lantern tower with two floors, each edge is underlined by three buttresses-columns, it is located at the crossing of the transept.
It houses a lantern with six windows and a beautiful dome. The slate pyramid and the double lantern that surmounts it are additions of the 19th century.
This Lantern Tower is not unlike the silhouette of that of Charroux.

Le clocher est une tour lanterne octogonale a deux étages, chaque arête est soulignée par trois contreforts-colonnes, il est situé à la croisée du transept.
Elle abrite une lanterne à six fenêtres et une belle coupole. La pyramide d'ardoise et le double lanternon qui la surmonte sont des adjonctions du 19e siècle.
Cette Tour Lanterne n'est pas sans rappeler la silhouette de celle de Charroux.
